For more than three decades, FIOC has created a place for Iranian heritage, language, friendship, and civic connection to thrive in Connecticut.
Our mission
To foster Iranian culture, language, and heritage among Iranians in Connecticut and the community at large.
FIOC is a nonprofit, nonpolitical, and nonreligious organization. We sponsor cultural and educational programs, support Mehre-Iran Farsi School, award scholarships, and help community members stay connected.

Our story
FIOC has been active in Connecticut since 1989, bringing families and friends together through Nowruz, Yalda, Mehregan, school programs, arts, literature, lectures, and community gatherings.
Our work is sustained by members, volunteers, educators, donors, and community partners who believe culture grows stronger when it is shared.
